IN THE BEGINNING...
In 2006 our team began as the ICT Roller Girls, and in the first few years the league quickly grew to over 40 members. By 2010 we became the first league from Kansas to to be accepted as a full member of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).
Playing locally and through out the US the league even hosted the WFTDA Division 2 Playoffs in 2016. Soon after we changed our name to ICT Roller Derby to establish our selves as a competitive league in the sport.
...A NEW BEGINNING
Through out the years the league has seen its ups and downs. As expected the pandemic caused our numbers to dwindle, and we needed to rebuild from the group up! Since 2020 we have rebranded, changing our name to Wicked City Roller Derby.
We continue to gain new members, and are excited to be forging new community relationships!
